Edwin A. Pape Lake
Concordia's 245-acre city-owned lake — fishing, boating, and picnicking two miles south of town.
Edwin A. Pape Lake is a 245-acre city-owned lake located two miles south of Concordia on Hwy 23, then half a mile west on Concordia Lake Road. The lake offers a boat ramp, a fishing jetty, picnic areas, and pavilions for day use.
Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish. The lake is part of the Missouri Department of Conservation Community Assistance Program. A city user permit is required and is available from City Hall at (660) 463-2228.
The lake is closed from 10 pm to 4 am unless you are actively fishing, and it is closed to fishing during waterfowl season.
